Owned by Tanzanians 100%, WakiliApp is LegalTech Startup registered under the Tanzanian Laws and licenced by the Tanzania Regulatory Authority (TCRA) It is a mobile app which connects people in need of legal services with the nearest lawyers of their choice across Tanzania 24/7.(the uber of lawyers).

The App provides a portfolio of the available legal services scaled as per the Advocates Remuneration Order GN No 264 of 2015. Full and effective deployment will help to enhance access to justice to the majority of people in Tanzania, young lawyers will easily be visible and above all undercutting will be controlled.

Access to justice is a constitutional right to every Tanzanian pursuant to Article 13(6) of the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania [CAP 2 as amended in 2010].

Cognizant of this constitutional right, WakiliApp seeks to make access to justice a reality to every Tanzanian.

The App appreciates and implements the National ICT policy which envision Tanzania to become a hub of ICT Infrastructure and ICT solutions that enhance socio-economic development The App uses platform/gig economy model by acting as a neutral tech intermediary to link clients and lawyers/Advocates as service providers.
